Real stories transformation and growth

Sarah Miller

Washtenaw Youth Services

"When we lost two major grants in the same year. Regan didn't just sympathize, she showed us exactly how to diversify our revenue. Six months in, we had our first major donor, a working event model, and a recurring donor program bringing in $3K/month."

Jeff Stevens

Ypsilanti Food Cooperative

"Regan built systems that actually fit our capacity, with simple workflows, plug-and-play templates, and a donor pipeline I can manage in my sleep. For the first time in years, I'm not working weekends trying to figure out who to thank or who to ask next."

FAQs

Answers to common fundraising questions

Absolutely. While I love doing comprehensive builds, I understand that's not what every organization needs or can afford. If you need help planning and executing a signature fundraising event, I can do that. If you need someone to design an annual fund campaign and train your team to run it, I can do that too. We'll scope the project to match what you actually need. That said, I'll be honest with you if I think you're trying to put a band-aid on a problem that needs surgery. Sometimes a one-off event isn't going to solve the underlying issue. But if it makes sense, I'm happy to take on more focused projects.

No, that's not my core focus. I'm on the individual giving and systems side of fundraising. That said, I can help you develop grant strategies, create frameworks for finding and tracking grants, and build out case language and organizational narratives that support grant applications. If you need someone to actually write and submit grants, I can refer you to grant writers I trust. But my value is in building the infrastructure that supports sustainable, diversified fundraising—not in being your grant writer.

Most of my core engagements are 12 months. That's true for both the Architecture Build and the Architecture Optimization packages. Twelve months gives us enough time to not just create systems, but to implement them, test them, refine them, and make sure your team knows how to use them. For more focused projects like a single signature event or an annual fund campaign, the timeline might be shorter—anywhere from 3 to 6 months depending on scope. Capital campaigns vary widely based on your readiness and goals, but silent phase preparation alone is usually 6-12 months.

Everything I've promised in the scope of work for that particular service. For the Architecture Build, that includes CRM setup and training, all donor workflow development, event playbooks, campaign materials, staff training, board training, communication templates, and four post-implementation quarterly consults. For the Optimization package, it includes the full infrastructure review, gap analysis, recommendations report, implementation playbook, and 12 months of monthly support calls. I don't nickel and dime you with add-ons. The price we agree on is the price, and it covers the work we've scoped together.
